Background:

S.R Foils & Tissue Ltd is the company behind Mystique Tissues, Home Foil & Clean Film brand. In-fact they are the one’s to launch the concepts in India. Winner of multiple national and international awards the company and its promoters made a niche for themselves within the MSME hygiene industry over the past three decades.

Situations:

Competitive dumping of products and unrealistic pricing hit the company hard which had to halt production after reaching a peak of 600 Crores. Banks, Tax authorities, vendors etc all pulled back from supporting. Hell broke down on the firms and its founder brothers who until recently were usually a part of the PMs international business entourage.

Solutions:

LIFTOFFs critical situation handling team got into the act. Identified risks, assessed degree of severity on all legal and financial aspects as well as chartered a roadmap on security and recovery. While one team worked on managing all legal and taxation issues, the other worked with funding agencies across various formats for a revival.

Outcomes:

Founders could now feel relaxed of being in the right hands. Various proposals for funding of 100 crores were received and evaluated. The company is working on regaining its lost glory and becoming a dominant player in the hygiene market in India and abroad.
